The Madeira Employment Institute (IEM), IP-RAM in a statement, rejects the existence of any illegality regarding the Central Registry of the Effective Beneficiary (RCBE), and accuses the ADN-Madeira of spreading disinformation.
According to IEM, the CRBO is a database created to increase economic operation transparency and highlight illicit activities. As such, the IEM reject any illegality “contrary to what rumours are currently circulating and they have, and always will act in accordance and strict compliance with the provisions provided for by law.”
“Although the IES includes certain information, it is only a taxpayer’s statement that does not allow proof of the registration and updating of the RCBO statement. It should be noted that the IES does not contain the CRBO declaration code, which IEM, IP-RAM needs to consult the platform in order to verify whether the entity maintains compliance with this reporting obligation throughout the entire period of execution of the project that is being financed.”
Concluding, a spokesperson for the Madeira Employment Institute stated:
The Institute is always available to provide all the necessary clarifications and collaborate with entrepreneurs to resolve any issue.”
